He was expecting a loud response back and when he didn't get it, Abel turned and looked over at Jacob. Anger bled out into worry and he moved over to his brother, holding him up so that he doesn't end up falling over completely. All Abel could think is that he broke Jacob and doesn't know how to fix him. He puts a hand up to his face to slap his face lightly in an attempt to pull him out of whatever trace he fell into.
