Out of all the people he's killed or seen die, it's Cain's temporary death that truly gets to him, something that finally broke through the wall surrounding the memories of his life. It's a shock and he's quiet for a long moment as the memory hits him like a sack of bricks. He remembered his brother injured, laying on a bed and bandaged heavily while he stayed by his side, checking his time nearly constantly the entire time.
