"If I could, I wouldn't be compatible with only you," he answered lightly as he followed Chris to the interface, sticking to the left instead of the right where most people would expect him to go. Cole knew his own limitations and thanks to his issues, he sure as hell wasn't going to take the lead when there was someone seemingly more mentally stable to take control.

"Think you can handle taking the right for this?" There was a hint in his voice like he was testing to see his reaction to being asked to take charge. Would he take control or would Cole have to?
