For Chris, it wasn't so easy. Having strangers pry into his life was a necessary evil rather than something that could be ignored. Drifting was the same, a sharing of the minds that could easily go sour if they ended up in the wrong corners; Chris doubted anything in Cole's head to could match the memories of his own, but he wasn't going to let his guard down.
