"Not always." Never let it be said that Noah could not learn something new. The trick was making him interested enough to absorb the information. After enough scoldings, Noah had indeed begun learning how to make it seem less and less noticeable whenever he disposed of nuisances around the city. That was a bonus, even if it never seemed to help where Diego's attention was concerned. There was only so much Noah could do to hide his ways. Two hundred years of habits were hard to break.

That lack of immediate response only made Noah press harder. His grip on Diego's wrists tightened and he leaned in, grinning lightly. This was only the start, but the fact that they had begun at all was enough to get him slipping into the zone. "You would too if it was the only thing you heard for ages and ages," he said smugly.
